The Vector 1.6 K.W. (2.2 H.P)  starter is the best available without the amperage drain of the big boy 2.0 K.W.  The 1.6 K.W has the same physical features as the 2.0 K.W with out the same big  amperage drain.

Statement about starters

When you have built your high compression 96 cubic inch or bigger motor, you need to think about what it will take to get it started. Chances are the stock starter will not turn it over very well. You should then get the famous Fisher Concepts cables and starter to solve your problems

Our standard 1.4 K.W. (2.0 H.P.) should start most motors under 100 cubic inches, depending on the compression ratio and the ignition timing. Engines Over 100 cubic inches will need a higher torque starter. You can choose between our 1.6 K.W. (2.2 H.P.) or the big boy 2.0 K.W. (2.6 H.P.).  The 2.0 has the power to start any motor, but requires a larger battery because of the increased amps. needed to run it. Not all bikes can accomodate a larger battery.  The Fisher Concepts 1.6 K.W. (2.2 H.P.) does not have the amperage drain of the 2.0 K.W. and for some can be just what the doctor ordered.
